The E-9A Telemetry Relay System (TMRS),which is in need of an upgrade, consists of a passive multi-beam Phased Array Antenna (PAA) mounted externally on the right side of the aircraft along the length of the fuselage. The control system consists of a Telemetry Operator Console (TOC) and Antenna Control Computer (ANCC). The E-9A TMRS supports air-to-air/ground missile firings against targets above and on the Gulf waters for the Weapon System Evaluations Program (WSEP). The PAA is capable of tracking five spatially separated signals that will be multi streams of data. The Airborne Platform (AP) relay records the data on-board and re-transmits the data to a ground based antenna located along the Coast. Requirements are included in the attached System Requirements Document (SRD) and Statement of Work (SOW).
