This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract with a pre-approved pool of vendors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to inspect, maintain, repair, design, and perform any warranty/emergency work as needed, and install a turn-key Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement System (ERCES) for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The services will include, but are not limited to, equipment/material, labor, training, written/electronic reports and associated accessories as needed, regardless of the technology, make, model or manufacturer. Bidder(s) must commit to maintaining and enforcing the highest levels of pricing, quality and standards for the entire term of this contract and any subsequent renewal periods. In addition, awarded vendors will provide general guidance for the deployment of an in-building solution to enable Public Safety Radio Communications and District Emergency Communications Network (DECON) for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) also known as Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement System (ERCES), in the 400MHz and/or 800 MHz frequency band once it has been established that the building requires an in-building radio coverage solution.
