Charlotte County is seeking a qualified professional engineering firm with experience in scour analysis and design of scour countermeasures to provide engineering services to recommend and design scour countermeasures needed for the Tom Adams Beach Road Bridge over Lemon Bay (#010029), the Midway Boulevard Bridge over North Spring Lake (#014073), and the CR775 Bridge over Ainger Creek (#010062). The County reserves the right to include additional bridges, as needed, for an additional fee. The County requires all design aspects to meet current applicable FHWA, FDOT, OSHA and Coast Guard standards. The Consultant will prepare an engineering bridge repair memorandum for each bridge that provides a summary of findings from the consultant’s site inspection, evaluations, and surveys and provide recommendations. The selected Consultant shall also be provided the most recent FDOT Bridge Inspection reports and available scour reports and/or studies.
