Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County shall: 1. Order on an as needed basis. 2. Provide access to the work area and equipment. 3. Provide access to the pickup/delivery locations. 4. Approve in writing, all estimates and summary of work to be performed prior to any service being started. 5. Reserve the right to require the removal of any of the successful quoter’s employees from performing the service, if in the County’s judgment, such removal is necessary to protect the County’s interest. 6. Reserves the right to provide parts and/or supplies at its discretion. 7. NOT pay overtime or holiday rates for work performed at vendor’s facility. 8. Be responsible for towing any inoperable vehicle to successful quoter’s repair facility. The successful quoter shall: 1. Be responsible for furnishing all shop supplies (i.e., greases, lubricants, towels, etc.) to repair the designated vehicle at no additional cost to Palm Beach County. 2. Be required to supply OEM replacement parts or the manufacturer’s approved equal. Palm Beach County reserves the right to supply parts at its sole discretion. 3. Have a licensed repair shop in Palm Beach County meeting EPA and OSHA operating requirements. 4. Have a secured area for vehicles left after hours at their facility. 5. Provide a written estimate to the designated County representative and obtain written approval from the designated County representative before work is to be started. If, after the project starts, additional work is necessary, the successful quoter(s) shall obtain written approval from the designated County Representative before proceeding. 6. Pick up and deliver all operable vehicles to be serviced/repaired, at no additional cost to Palm Beach County. Successful quoter(s) shall be responsible for all transportation costs, including pick-up and delivery of vehicles from and to County locations. 7. Be required to pick-up vehicles requiring services within four (4) hours after notification, during normal working hours, 8. Coordinate all activities with the County representative. 9. Be bound by all terms, conditions, requirements and specifications of this solicitation.
