Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dewitt Watson Loop, or Road 2, are the identifiers for the road being improved. This road is 6.3 miles long and previously constructed with compacted limerock material. This project is designed to improve the existing roadbed. For the purposes of this project any existing limerock or other aggregate will not contribute to the amount of aggregate needed to fulfill this project. This road currently has 17 improved low water crossings and 1 culvert. The scope of work does not include improving low water crossings or culverts. Improvement will end and begin again at each crossing location. The water crossings and culverts are all passable in their current state for heavy equipment, semitruck, and dump truck. In the event that one of these areas becomes impassible during the fulfillment of this project, contractors will repair at their cost to ensure deadlines are met.
