It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed individual or Contractor for services required to repair bridge expansion joints on the CR775 at Coral Creek Waterway (014126). The Contractor shall use applicable FDOT traffic control standards during construction and applicable FDOT standard specifications for the repairs. Total project cost is a lump sum amount that includes labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the two (2) expansion joints as described herein. The Contractor shall adhere to FDOT standard specifications, section 458, “Bridge Deck Expansion Joint, Rehabilitation, Poured Joint with Backer Rod”. Contractor shall: 1. Obtain a Charlotte County Right of Way Permit 2. Provide Maintenance of Traffic (one (1) lane of traffic must be kept open at all times)) 3. Remove and replace two (2) expansion joints at the abutments per specifications 4. Remove and dispose of waste materials from job site 5. Complete time of 10 calendar days
