The City of Coral Gables, Florida (“City”) is soliciting quotes from qualified professionals for the fabrication and installation of an exterior canopy structure with canopy shade fabric. The City of Coral Gables intends to procure products as specified herein from sources of supply that will give prompt, professional and convenient service of acceptable quality. The following represent the minimum product requirements for a Bidder to be deemed responsive by the City, and Bidder shall satisfy each of the following minimum product requirements cited below. Failure to meet each of the following product requirements, and/or failure to provide sufficient detail and/or documentation in its submittal to determine responsiveness by the City, will result in the submittal being deemed non-responsive. Delivery Address: 2800 SW 72 Avenue, Miami, FL. 33155 Specifications: The project includes, but is not limited to providing the requested services as specified below: a. Canopy structure is approximately 52’-6” long, 21’ wide and 15’ clearance height. b. Aluminum frame structure (including welded parts, anchor plates, brackets, columns, etc., necessary for installation). c. Roll down curtains (both mechanically and motor operated system) to cover both sides of the canopy length and front side of the canopy width. d. Signed and sealed engineering plans, shop drawings and structural/wind calculations meeting applicable codes including the Florida Building Code for City to obtain a permit. e. High quality vinyl screen mesh fabric that is water, mildew, UV resistant and flame retardant. Color to be determined. f. One to three (1 to 3) feet valence curtains on both side lengths of canopy. g. One (1) end of canopy to be attached to existing wall (Refer to Attachment B – Canopy Location).
