Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified and experienced companies to provide reliable body-worn cameras (Cameras) and a Digital Evidence Management System (System) to capture video from an officer’s perspective. The City desires to obtain Commercial-Off-The-Shelf equipment and video storage system to store, manage, retrieve and share the captured digital video and should have substantial functionality with minimal or no development, modifications or enhancement to meet the City’s needs. The City’s department client for this project is the Tampa Police Department (TPD). The project team will have representation from all functional areas of TPD including Patrol Operations, District Training Units, City of Tampa Purchasing along with the Technology and Innovation department that serves as TPD’s technology services provider.
