Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor must have the support of the fifty-five (55) soil and water conservation districts and be accepted as their representative in dealing with total maximum daily loads matters and water conservation and water quality improvement, involving Florida’s conservation districts and the state legislature. Vendor must have appropriate qualified personnel to work with the districts, assist with the development of training materials and conduct educational workshops for districts. Vendor must have technical expertise related to the operation and activities of soil and water conservation districts. Vendor must maintain and update the roster of all Florida Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) supervisors and contact information. The most recent version of the roster shall be sent electronically to FDACS/OAWP. Coordinate with local Supervisors of Elections, the Florida Division of Elections and the Florida Department of Commerce (formally Florida Department of Economic Opportunity) to ensure the consistency of SWCD supervisor information with the agencies’ data. Vendor will respond to requests for SWCD-related information from the districts, through telephone communications, electronic transmissions or paper mail-outs as the contractor deems appropriate. Requests for information may include, but not be limited to, administrative and/or accounting forms, reminders of filing dates for reports and other required documents and means for securing funds to carry out SWCD responsibilities.
