Specifications include, but are not limited to: Amberwood: Greens- • All greens to be sod stripped at 1 ½ inch minimum depth and removed. (Spoils can be spread out at certain non-play areas and ground up. Any remaining spoils will need to be hauled away off property) • Excavate out greens soil down to the sub floor of greens exposing the drainage lines and keeping with the same greens floor footprint/design. Depths may vary. (Old soil material can be used to cap tees, fairways and can be spread out by top-dresser on the golf course with direction from District Executive Golf personnel. Any remaining material will need to be hauled off site. • Examine greens drainage lines. Blow/wash out lines to ensure properly working. Replace any damaged drainage as needed – not to exceed 1,500 feet. (ADS 12-inch flat pipe) • Redesign/construct #5 green adjusting to make less severe slope while staying in same footprint and size. Irrigation adjustment/replacement will be needed. • Install tracer wire along green well walls and exit back side of green toward irrigation head. • Install 4 to 6 + inches of granite drain rock (USGA spec) completely covering the greens floor and drain lines. • Install 12 to 14 + inches of 85/15 greens sand mix (USGA spec -must provide analysis test before installing) in the green’s cavity over drainage rock. • Float greens surface to match existing contours and water in efficiently for light compaction. Adjust slopes or low areas for proper drainage and to avoid pockets of standing water, sand float contours accordingly and water in again for finished grade. Adjusting tie-in to collars may be needed. • Hand sprig greens with Certified TifEagle Bermuda grass at 35BU/1,000SF rate and cut-in two directions.
