Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed site is zoned as a Regional Activity Center. The Regional Activity Center is a high intensity, high density multi-use area. The Adams Street site is located in zoning district DH-3 – Dixie Highway High intensity Mixed used district. Given its location, frontage to Dixie Highway, blocks from Downtown Hollywood, Young Circle, 2 miles from Hollywood Beach and 1.5 miles from I-95, and access to the other parts of the City, a variety of uses can be accommodated. Uses such retail, office, medical facilities, or a mix of these, can be supported at this site. West of the proposed CRA site, a new affordable senior housing development with 120 units distributed among three - three story buildings, that will be completed by 2020 and will cost $28.8 Million.
