SCOPE: The City of Delray Beach, Florida (“City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms for the construction of reclaim water mains and services within 3 main areas inside the City of Delray Beach. The areas for the improvements are in Area 5 towards the west end of Germantown Road providing reclaimed water mains and services to 5 properties; Area #10 near both NW and SW 2nd Avenue providing reclaimed water mains and services to 8 properties; and in Area 14 providing reclaimed water mains and services to 8 properties for a total installation of approximately 4,400 LF of pipe for the Area 5, 10, and 14 Reclaim Water Improvements project, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid Construction.
The City will hold a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on April 8, 2025, 9:00 AM (LOCAL TIME) at: 434 S Swinton Avenue, SOC Training Room Delray Beach, FL 33444.
The City will not conduct a site visit for this solicitation.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure all pages are included in the submission. All Bidders are advised to closely examine the solicitation package.
The City of Delray Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax.
The City of Delray Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the City of Delray Beach in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or cashiers check drawn upon any State or National Bank of Florida or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.1 of the General Conditions.
