Specifications include, but are not limited to: The School Board of Citrus County, Florida (“CCSB”) seeks to secure firm pricing from qualified firms who are approved by the Universal Service Administration Company (“USAC”) to supply Wireless Network Access Points and Licenses necessary to improve and update CCSB’s Wireless Network in full compliance with the E-Rate Program. CCSB is currently seeking pricing for wireless network access points for eleven (11) District locations as well as the support licensing required to maintain, upgrade, and support our wireless network for ALL school sites at full capacity. CCSB utilizes CommScope (Ruckus) wireless access points and Virtual Smart Zone Controllers for wireless network connectivity. These Access points require an AP Management as well as a Support License to maintain, upgrade and support the wireless network. Equivalent equipment substitutions for wireless access points must meet the specifications outlined in the solicitation and be able to communicate with our current standardized Ruckus platform successfully and efficiently.
