Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Winter Haven owns and operates a water treatment plant on 3.376 acres located at 6600 Cypress Gardens Blvd. known as Winterset Water Treatment Plant. The site currently has two (2) potable production wells, 500,000 ground storage tank, mechanical building, emergency generator, chemical containment areas, access road and underground piping. The site is currently enclosed by a six-foot-tall vinyl fence that is in poor condition and has become a security issue. The City of Winter Haven intends to remove and dispose of the 1,540 feet existing perimeter vinyl fence and replace with a six (6) foot tall chain link black vinyl coated fence and replace the existing gate in the same location. In addition to the perimeter fence a chlorine containment area will be replaced with black vinyl coated chain-link-fence, 30’X30’ with (4) 6-foot swing gates, (2) two on the front and (2) two on the side to make 12-foot width, with one strand of barbed wire installed.
