The intent of this specification is to obtain a WingtraRAY professional-grade fixed-wing drone system for aerial mapping, surveying, and related City operations. The system should be designed for efficient large-area data collection with high precision, reliability, and ease of operation. General Requirements The drone system shall meet or exceed the following minimum performance and functional specifications: 1. Flight Performance Flight Type: Fixed-wing with Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) capability. Endurance: Minimum flight time of 60 minutes or greater per battery charge under standard operating conditions. Coverage Area: Capable of mapping at least 300 acres per flight at 1-inch ground sampling distance (GSD) or better. Operational Range: Minimum communication/control range of 5 miles (8 km) line-of-sight. Maximum Takeoff Weight: Not to exceed 10 lbs (4.5 kg). Wind Resistance: Operable in sustained winds up to 25 mph (40 km/h). 2. Navigation and Positioning Positioning System: Integrated multi-frequency GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou) receiver for centimeter-level accuracy (RTK/PPK supported). Accuracy: Horizontal < 2 cm, Vertical < 3 cm (PPK mode). Return-to-Home (RTH): Automated return on low battery, loss of signal, or mission completion.
