o Contractor will be responsible for engineered/architectural drawings required for permitting. o Contractor will be responsible for acquiring the permit. o Contractor will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing dry chemical fire protection. systems and providing professional engineering services needed to assume engineering responsibility. o Contractor will be responsible for final design Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm o All materials and workmanship shall be first class and shall conform to the highest industry standards or the specifications, whichever requirements are more stringent. o Worksite is to be kept clear of debris at all times. o Contractor is responsible for removal of all debris from project site. o All inspections are the responsibility of the Contractor. o All areas are to be kept safe for workers and residents. o Contractor shall be responsible for adhering to all local, state and federal safety guidelines and observe all safety precautions when performing services on District property, roadways and right-of-ways to include safe location of parked vehicles, use of safety cones, signage, flag personnel as necessary, use of safety vests on all personnel and vehicles which are clearly identifiable as belonging to the Contractor. o Any District property damaged at work site by contactor shall be repaired to District Standards. Contractor is responsible for all repairs of damage. o Access / Staging Area and Safety: The District shall designate the access to the site and staging area for the project. Appropriate safety signs shall be posted by the contractor. Staging shall be confined to the construction site. The staging site shall be used for parking of equipment, storing of materials, workman parking and supplies. The staging site must conform to the same standards as the safety / MOT requirements as above. Contractor shall confine construction equipment, the storage of materials and equipment, and the operations of workers to the Site and other areas permitted by the District and shall not unreasonably encumber the Site and other areas with construction equipment or other materials or equipment. Contractor shall assume full responsibility for any damage to any such land or area, or to the owner or occupant thereof, or of any adjacent land or areas resulting from the performance of the Work. All areas damaged shall be restored to original condition by the contractor.
