The selected firm will be expected to evaluate and prepare all documentation and plans for the WRF expansion and renovation. The firm shall provide the following services, for this project: Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the existing 5 MGD East Plant facility and develop alternatives for expansion up to 15 MGD. Evaluate the potential for repurposing or decommissioning components of the West Plant facility, if beneficial to this overall expansion project. Provide design and permitting services for, including but not limited to updating the design to current standards and future standards for this project. Prepare plans and specifications for construction, permit submittals, and other required services for the WRF expansion project. Provide assistance with bidding services, including preparation of addenda. Provide project management services as needed, including, but not limited to, pre- construction conferences, review of shop drawings, site inspections, field testing and inspection services, submittal of record as-built drawings and certification for this project. Perform value engineering on this project, with emphasis on operational efficiency, and lifecycle cost considerations. Obtain appropriate Water Management District, FDEP, and other regulatory permits as required for this project. Perform other engineering, testing and environmental services on an as needed basis for this project. All final work products, graphics, surveys, maps, etc., for this project will be delivered in a digital format (i.e. compact disk) at this project conclusion. All deliveries shall be prepared using software approved by the City in this project's contract agreement.
