The County seeks to identify Entities that meet the requirements outlined in Section 1.B of this RFI. Respondents should provide responses that address the following criteria: 1) Waste Cart Specifications a) Do your carts meet, at a minimum, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards Z-245.30-2008 and Z-245.60-2008, or the latest ANSI update? b) Is your cart manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a density range of 0.947 to 0.968 g/cm³? The Melt Index (MI) of the HDPE must be at least 4.0. c) Does your cart include an ultraviolet (UV) inhibitor to prevent deterioration and shattering? The UV inhibitor should be added at a minimum of 2% by weight, or an equivalent advanced technology, to ensure maximum protection from environmental exposure. Respondents must provide documentation demonstrating compliance with this requirement. d) Is your cart manufactured with a smooth, non-textured interior surface and free of sharp edges on the exterior?...
