1. Clearing and grubbing at the site of the new Chlorination/ Dechlorination building. 2. Construct new pre-engineered metal building, including HVAC systems, personnel and roll-up equipment access doors. 3. Furnish and install all electrical and control conduit, cables, equipment and miscellaneous appurtenances. 4. Furnish and install all lightning protection devices, cabling and appurtenances as shown and/ or specified. 5. After the new hypochlorite and bisulfite systems are installed, commissioned and operational, capping/ plugging the existing gaseous chlorine and sulfur dioxide piping at the existing chemical feed building and the new pre-engineered metal building. THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH WILL REMOVE THE EXISTING TON CYLINDERS ( CHLORINE AND SULFUR DIOXIDE), GAS FEEDERS, VACUUM REGULATORS, WEIGH SCALES AND OTHER EQUIPMENT. 6. Installing new liquid sodium hypochlorite feed system, including storage tanks, feed pumps, sight gages, piping, valves and appurtenances, all mounted on a wall mounted backboard. 7. Installing new liquid sodium bisulfite feed system, including storage tanks, feed pumps, sight gages, piping, valves and appurtenances, all mounted on a wall mounted backboard. 8. Remove the existing chlorine and sulfur dioxide eductors located at the Chlorine Contact Chamber ( CCC) and replace with new hypochlorite and bisulfite feed piping. 9. Modify the existing SCADA system to provide remote monitoring and control of the sodium hypochlorite and sodium bisulfite feed systems. 10. Performing all site rough and fine grading for all areas disturbed by the Contractors’ operations. 11. Sodding/ seeding as shown and/ or specified.
