Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following Scope of Services is proposed to provide technical assistance and Geographical Information System (GIS) support and multimedia services for FDOT District Fives Tentative Three Year Work Program Public Hearings. The purpose of this project is to provide informational support materials and supplies that will foster involvement and interest at the tentative five year work program public hearings held to review District Fives proposed transportation improvements. Each of the nine (9) District Five counties transportation improvement projects will be developed and represented on one of the following: a large oversized plots map or 11x17 maps, and multimedia graphics. These counties include Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. All assignments are to be completed in accordance with Department policies, procedures, guidelines and rules which may be supplemented by Federal guidelines and manuals and other documents as appropriate. The Vendor work will be managed by a Department Project Manager who shall be provided a specific definition of the work to be performed by the Vendor for each task as defined below through the issuance of a Task Work Order. The Task Work Order shall include project requirements, deliverables, schedules, manpower requirements, documentation requirement, and total allowable project costs. Such Task Work Orders shall be developed in cooperation with the Vendor and issued to the Vendor prior to any work on the task being initiated. The following types of work elements may be assigned under the terms of this Agreement. All materials will be made available a minimum of three (3) days prior to the Tentative Five Year Work Program Public Hearing(s), or Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board Meeting(s)/Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) Board Meetings. The following is a description of the activities proposed: Program Support: Task 1. Data Collection and Assimilation In this task, information regarding significant work program projects will be obtained. The vendor will obtain data pertaining to project location, limits, type of improvement, phasing, costs and other information from the Departments Work Program System. This information will be converted to GIS format to facilitate several mapping tasks. Project information for all nine (9) District Five counties will be developed in GIS and subsequently represented on a series of maps, plots, and multimedia graphics. Deliverables: The Vendor will deliver to the Departments Project Manager all final, quality controlled GIS files used to create the map series.
