1) Volume of 1 1/9th bushels. 2) Inside dimensions must be 17 ½ in. long x 11 3/4 in. wide x 11 5/8 in. high. Minor variation (plus or minus ½ in.) will be accepted in the height dimension only. The vendor must supply a spec sheet with its bid submission specifying the actual dimensions of the wax coated box. 3) Be single wall, corrugated, 42 lb./69 lb. – 33 “C” flute with a 250 lb. burst strength. Each box shall have a glue joint with a self-locking top and bottom. 4) Not require staples, fasteners, glue, tape, or other fasteners to assemble. 5) Manufactured with water resistant adhesive used on the glue joint of the boxes. 6) Not include any print or images and be plain brown Kraft color. 7) Wax coat must be applied via the cascading method. Curtain-coated wax boxes will not be accepted. Box finish must be included on the spec sheet included with the vendor’s bid.
