The HCSO is seeking a qualified supplier or a consortium of suppliers to manage a comprehensive auction program. This initiative is a strategic effort to monetize surplus assets and reduce overhead costs associated with storage and inventory management. The primary goal is to maximize the return on these assets through efficient and transparent public auction processes. This program will also help the organization meet its operational and financial objectives by converting non-liquid assets into capital. The chosen supplier(s) must demonstrate the ability to handle a wide range of successful vehicle auction services, with proven expertise in marketing and sales strategies that reach a broad base of potential bidders. The fees collected by auction participants are to cover cost of Work for HCSO. The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for a full spectrum of services. These may include, but are not limited to, asset evaluation and appraisal, cataloging, marketing, logistical support (pickup, storage, and transportation of items [see also 3.10]), and post-sale services. The solicitation seeks supplier(s) that can provide flexible auction methods, including online platforms, on-site and off-site auctions, and live in-person events, to ensure the most effective disposal method is used for each asset category. The supplier(s) should also have a robust and secure online platform to handle bidding, payment processing, and reporting. The successful supplier(s) will be responsible for the auctioning of vehicles. The HCSO requires the expertise and resources of the successful bidder(s) to manage a diverse inventory of assets. The types of items to be auctioned vary significantly but typically fall into the following categories: • Vehicles: This category includes a broad range of passenger vehicles (automobiles, pick-up trucks, vans, SUVs), work trucks, transit buses, cutaway vans, and may include boats, and heavy-duty work equipment, golf carts. No guarantee is expressed or implied as to the total quantity or value of items to be sold under the resulting contract(s).
