Specifications include, but are not limited to: Respondent will serve as an on-call extension of staff as an Urban Design Advisor (UDA) and a vision keeper for the community. The UDA shall have an understanding of the city's land development code (including the Design Guidelines for the Central Business District, Morse Boulevard, and the architectural regulations in the Orange Avenue Overlay), form-based codes, new urbanism, smart growth, and has good site-planning and architectural design abilities. This UDA will be a resource for applicants for projects requiring a Conditional Use to help them get the project entitled while ensuring our community's goals are met. As a project resource, the UDA may have design sessions with the project's design team to ensure the regulations within the code are met and the direction is clear.
