Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CONSULT ANT shall use the approved concepts from the current Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) study as a basis for the design. The CONSULTANT shall evaluate the PD&E alignment to determine if relocating part of the trail east of Gunn Highway is feasible. The CONSULTANT shall evaluate the proposed alignment for any landscaping features that will improve the aesthetics and safety of the trail. The purpose of this project is to provide Final Construction Documents for the design of Upper Tampa Bay Trail Gap (Phase IV) from Peterson Park to Van Dyke Road. The COUNTY expects the CONSULTANT to perform preliminary investigation, engineering design services including preliminary and final plans, supporting engineering analysis, calculations and preparation of other technical documents in accordance with Hillsborough County’s policies, procedures and requirements. The CONSULTANT will develop design plans. These elements may include, but may not be limited to: 1. Develop the estimated design schedule, construction budget, and duration. 2. Design for and meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the County’s Vision Zero program. 3. Identify potential long-lead procurement items that may affect schedule.
