Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Transparent Language, Inc., (Transparent), at a total cost of $40,500.00 for a three (3) year period, for ongoing and as-needed access to UniversalClass for Libraries (UniversalClass). UniversalClass is an online database offering over 600 professional development training and education courses and has been utilized by the Library Services Department and its customers for the past six (6) years and is a renewal of existing software. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(10)(31) of the County’s Procurement Policy as UniversalClass is an online learning database and Transparent is the only authorized provider within the United States. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
