FC-5 Replacement Milling and Resurfacing Pavement Only Low Bid Design-Build in Hillsborough County. The intent of this Low Bid Design-Build project is to replace existing raveling FC-5 Friction Course with new FC-5 Friction Course from the Manatee County Line to S. of John Sherman Way for a total project length of 3.00 miles. The resurfacing area will include the northbound travel lanes only. The scope of work requires the replacement of the FC-5 Friction Course and pavement markings that will be impacted by the milling and resurfacing. Other improvements, including cross slope correction, Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) improvements, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, are not included in the scope of work.
