The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to upgrade Sewage Pump Station No. 0442, including, but not limited to, providing uninterrupted bypass pumping capabilities for the existing pump station flow during all construction times and until the new pump station is completely operational and accepted by the Owner; cutting, filling with flowable fill, capping and abandoning in place the existing 4-inch asbestos-cement (AC) force main; demolition and removal of the existing dry/wet well pump station structure including, but not limited to the following: the existing dry/wet well, pumping equipment and appurtenances, piping and fittings, electrical equipment and conduits, and all other items deemed necessary to be removed; site preparation, clearing and grubbing as necessary; furnishing and installing new valve vault structure including concrete top slab and access hatch; furnishing and installing new wet well structure including concrete top slab with access hatch; furnishing and installing new submersible pumps and related equipment; all pipe, fittings and appurtenances for the new pump station and valve vault including emergency pump out piping connection; furnishing and installing new control panel, electrical service with main disconnect, motor connection box and including concrete slabs and mounting structures; installation of 275 (total) linear feet of primary underground duct bank consisting of 215 linear feet of two (2) 6- inch diameter HDPE “Bore Pipe” (supplied by FPL) using trenchless technology (directional drilling) and 60 linear feet of two (2) 5-inch diameter PVC primary conduit (supplied by Contractor) using open cut trenching installation; coordination with FPL and connection of the new electrical service to the proposed pump station; proposed new pad mounted transformer; site restoration; start up and testing; and other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete, satisfactory and functional installation. Pumping Station 0442 is located at 20591 N.W. 30th Court, Miami Gardens, Florida, in Section 33, Township 51 South, Range 41 East, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project scope also includes furnishing all labor, material and equipment including, but not limited to, furnishing and installing, by directional drilling, 505 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron (DI) pipe, valves and fittings for sewage force main, constructing automatic air release valve assembly; making a tapping connection to the existing 10-inch DI force main with 10 x 10-inch tapping sleeve and 10-inch tapping valve; perform maintenance of traffic; temporary and permanent paving repairs; restoration of sidewalk; and landscaping restoration together with all other miscellaneous and appurtenant items and work for a complete, functional and satisfactory installation. Installation of 6-inch force main piping shall be accomplished using a combination of trenchless technology (directional drilling) and open-cut trenching to minimize disruption of Buccaneer Park. The project work shall be confined to the limits of the Park property and the easements provided with the use of a single entry/exit pit within these limits for each of the directional drilling operations. Staging areas are required to be coordinated with the City of Miami Gardens and WASD Construction Manager
