Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Inc. (FDDC) is pleased to announce that this request for proposals (RFP #2015-EM-13300) is released to identify proven transportation system models and approaches that can be replicated throughout Florida to design and implement a coordinated transportation system that is responsive to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. The selected provider will research transportation systems across the country that are successful in providing affordable, accessible options for individuals with developmental disabilities to access employment and other community services. Through this research, the selected provider will be able to develop a gap analysis between current Florida services and those provided through successful programs nationwide and provided a detailed plan of recommendations for next steps needed for Florida to replicate the services of those programs.
