Miami-Dade County (County) connects people to places by offering a high-quality, safe, reliable, clean, and efficient mass transit system that meets the transportation needs of the County's growing population. The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is the lead department providing essential transportation infrastructure and services. County buses serve all major shopping, entertainment, and cultural centers, as well as key hospitals and schools. The transportation services provided by the County extends to areas such as Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, West Miami-Dade, Broward County, Homestead, Florida City, and the Middle Florida Keys. Buses are equipped with bicycle racks on the front for passenger convenience. Through this Pool, Suppliers/Vendors are expected to provide various types of bus parts and services. The County maintains a fleet of approximately 850 buses, including diesel, diesel-electric (hybrid), battery electric, and compressed natural gas (CNG) powered buses of different types, sizes, and ages from multiple manufacturers. To maintain this fleet, a reliable supply chain with a variety of parts and services is required, to ensure efficient fleet management to continue serving the County effectively.
