The required Grave marker shall be constructed of aluminum and weigh one (1) pound. It shall be approximately 6 1/4" in diameter and approximately 7/16" thick with three (3) lugs on the back. Two (2) lugs shall be spaced approximately 2 1/2" center to center with a 7/16" diameter hole in each lug. Said holes shall hold a 3/8" diameter wooden staff. The third lug, on the back of the Grave Marker shield, shall be situated approximately 1" from the base of the shield. The lug shall be threaded and have the capacity to accept a 3/8" diameter aluminum rod, 24" long, which shall be supplied by the successful bidder. Said rod shall be pointed at the end opposite the threads. The Grave Markers face shall conform to the following requirement: FACE The Grave Marker face shall consist of a 5-point star, each point connected to, and enclosed by a circle approximately 2-7/8" in diameter and raised approximately 1/16" from the surface. LETTERING The letters "US" shall appear in the center of the 5-point star. The lettering "US" shall be approximately 7/8" in height and 5/16" in width and raised approximately 1/16" from the surface. OUTER RING The outer ring shall be approximately 15/32" distance from the five (5) star circle ring. The outer ring diameter shall be approximately 3-15/16"...
