Prep work: • Contractor must move furniture to the center of room and cover it to prevent damage. (Contractor will move it back to its proper position after painting). • Contractor must repair all damage to walls, including pin and nail holes, water damage and issues other than smooth walls. • Contractor will prime repaired areas and will apply second coat to keep paint from flashing. Painting: • Buildings are to be painted the colors listed in below. • Sherwin Williams Paint o Rooms and common area: UPI Special Cream Flat B30WW6151 o Common Accent Peach living room: Sumptuous Peach B20W4651 o Bathrooms: UPI Special Cream Semi-Gloss B31WW5251 • Paint may not be thinned. • Paint is to be applied by roller and brush only. • Contractor will use drop cloths at all times to protect surfaces and prevent tracking. • Contractor will apply one coat of paint if repainting existing color. • Contractor will apply two coats of paint (minimum) where required. (ex. Sheen and/or color change) • Contractor will clean up any spatter on surfaces caused by painting. • Contractor will be considerate of student property left in rooms being painted. • Contractor shall be solely responsible for any damages caused by the contractor’s employees, agents, affiliates, or anyone else under contractor’s control, direction, or supervision on the job site. • All paint not used is the property of UCF.
