In case of any conflict with such sections, the intent of any kind and all Technical Specifications shall govern. The intent of this harvest is to restore natural communities within this conservation area. The Balu Forest 2023 Saluda timber sale is a per ton harvest of 76 acres comprised of marked Slash, Longleaf and Loblolly pines. All trees available for harvest are marked with a blue dot at eye level or higher and at the stump. Estimated volumes to be removed are 435 tons of Pine Pulpwood, 200 tons of Pine Chip-n-Saw, and 583 tons of Pine Sawtimber. A per ton price for each product class is required from the Respondent. The per ton price for each product class must be entered on the BID FORM. Additional timber within the sale area may be designated for removal by the County Project Manager during the harvest.
