The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive sealed proposals for Third Party Administrative Services for the School District’s General Liability, Worker’s Compensation and Automobile Claims. It is the intent of this solicitation to engage one qualified consultant to provide a full array of third-party claims administration services for the School District’s general liability, worker’s compensation and automobile claim services on an as-needed basis. The proposer must have a staffed office in the State of Florida. The proposer must have, at a minimum, at least five (5) years of Florida experience in third party administration in the State of Florida. The proposer must provide evidence they are licensed to operate as a recognized Third-Party Administrator in the State of Florida, which will include a copy of their State of Florida license with their response. The proposer must have acted as a full-service Third-Party Administrator providing a full array of claims administration for public entities for at least five (5) years; preferably entities of similar size, complexity and magnitude are preferred. The proposer must be fully Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant and their employees must be trained in the requirements of the HIPAA Laws. Background information should be furnished as applicable, regarding the size of agency or insurer, personnel and qualifications (particularly of the agent/representative who will serve the School District), services, etc. This is a non-negotiable item
