Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will provide Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) for the County Environmental Services Department. A. Sodium Hydroxide supplied under this contract shall be tested and certified as meeting these specifications and those of the American National Standards Institute/National Foundation Standard 60 (ANSI/NSF Standard 60), drinking water treatment chemicals health effects. B. Sodium Hydroxide delivered shall be in accordance with the American Water Works Association's (AWWA's) Standard B501-03. Upon request, the vendor shall supply the County with a written chemical analysis of any shipment. C. Sodium Hydroxide delivered under this contract will be in 25% membrane grade only. D. Contractor’s invoice shall contain the following data: A. Date of Delivery B. Purchase Order Number C. Work Order Number D. Quantity delivered (gallons) E. Bill per gallons delivered E. A certified report from the manufacturer shall be submitted for each sodium hydroxide delivery to Seminole County. The report shall contain the following data: a. Date and Time of manufacture b. Percent by weight sodium hydroxide c. Specific gravity (referenced to a temperature) d. Suspended solids test time
