Specifications include, but are not limited to: Palm Beach County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide an employer paid Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) plan and a voluntary, supplemental group term life and AD&D plan, as well as voluntary, dependent term life coverage, which is separated into spouse/domestic partner life, and dependent child life coverage. The spouse/domestic partner life coverage includes a matching AD&D benefit; the dependent child life coverage does not include a matching AD&D benefit. County seeks to provide this life insurance program with the most favorable terms, conditions, and rates. The latter voluntary coverage for supplemental group term life and AD&D life, spouse/domestic partner life and AD&D spouse/domestic partner life, and dependent child life shall be paid entirely by the employee through payroll deduction and shall offer coverage on both the employee and dependents.
