The proposed contract action is for product or services for which the City of Pembroke Pines intends to negotiate and award with only one source under the authority of the City of Pembroke Pines Code Section 35.18 (C) (3) City standard, single-source and sole-source commodities or services. Sole Source Justification: The Symbiont PH300 geothermal pool heater is the only system that meets the City's technical and site-specific needs. It is designed to run off the existing well-water infrastructure, requires no redesign of plumbing or power systems, and offers a combined heating/cooling function that few other products can match. It also uses titanium heat exchangers for maximum durability and efficiency. Furthermore, the PH300 model is exclusively manufactured to Symbiont specifications and is only available through Symbiont Services Corporation. No other system offers this level of compatibility, efficiency, or service continuity.
