I. Base Bid 1. Furnish material and labor to mill and remove existing pavement layer in driveway and parking areas and haul debris off-site. Refer to attached exhibits for additional information. 2. Mill existing 1.5” asphalt and haul debris off of property. Install new 1.5” Type SP-12.5 PG-76-22 Traffic Level C with Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement Material (RAP) maximum of twenty percent (20%). Superpave Asphaltic Concrete (SP) shall meet Section 334, FDOT Standard Specifications. Document, layout and re-stripe existing parking spaces in accordance with FDOT approved traffic paint (Lead-Free Thermoplastic Traffic Paint) and pavement marking standards per the recommendations of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. 3. Spread material to uniform thickness specified and compact to appropriate density per FDOT requirements. Modify grade as necessary to maintain drainage direction and stormwater runoff of existing parking lot. 4. Existing pipe bollards shall remain, unless otherwise noted. All existing pipe bollards shall be painted, repaired and/or replaced if damaged. 5. Contractor is responsible for final grading and replacing sod in all disturbed areas of improvement. Contractor shall water new sod until substantial completion date. 6. It shall be the contractor’s responsibility to furnish and install the material quantities necessary to complete the scope of work as illustrated on the attached exhibits. 7. All work shall be sequenced in accordance with Owner requirements to accommodate continuity of facility operations and parking. The work will commence in logical phases and may require limited weekend hours for areas of essential ingress/ egress. 8. All site improvements described herein shall be in accordance and compliance with current Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications. 9. Contractor shall provide product submittals and soil density test results for review and approval by the Owner prior to material procurement.
