Specifications include, but are not limited to: Unarmed security officers are needed at STC to ensure safety at two (2) campuses in Sarasota County, indicated below as Main Campus and North Port Campus. Unarmed security officers are required to be highly visible to provide continual surveillance of the immediate surrounding area, building(s), and parking area(s) during their scheduled service shift which includes but not limited to the arrival, dismissal, and departure of all students and staff. Unusual behavior and/or disturbances are to be reported to the administrative staff on duty. One security officer at each campus will be supplied a cell phone, radio and golf cart. Equipment will be provided by SBSC administrative staff at the beginning of the service shift. It is the responsibility of the security officer(s) to return all equipment to SBSC administrative staff at the end of the service shift.
