Specifications include, but are not limited to: perform work concerning post hurricane and weather event debris collection monitoring and related services. The selected firm will be expected to follow FEMA requirements to provide disaster debris monitoring services to include: debris generated from the public rights-of-way, private property, drainage areas/canals, and waterways. Specific services include: • Monitor contractor recovery operations and recommend efficiencies. • Accurately measure and certify truck capacities (recertify on a regular basis). • Properly and accurately complete and physically control load tickets (in tower and field) • Entering load tickets into a database application. • Developing daily operational reports to keep the City informed of work progress. • Comprehensive review, reconciliation, and validation of debris removal contractor(s) invoices. • Record pertinent information in format required for reimbursement by FEMA. • Disaster related damage assessment and reconstruction services, as needed. • Final report and appeal preparation and assistance. • Other disaster recovery services as requested by the City.
