Since SWEPT’s inception, AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (AECOM) has provided ongoing support for its development, maintenance, and enhancement. AECOM assists in developing, updating, and implementing programs, policies, and procedures that enhance efficiency, transparency, and environmental stewardship. AECOM’s team possesses unique institutional knowledge of the application’s architecture, code-base, data structures, and workflow logic. AECOM has been the sole developer, maintainer, and technical support provider for the SWEPT system. Maintaining the existing partnership between the Department and AECOM is essential to ensure the continuity of operations, system reliability, and uninterrupted compliance with federal and state environmental requirements.
