Statement of Purpose: The purpose of the request is to solicit bids from vendors to conduct a monthly mail survey of recreational anglers to obtain information on their fishing activity in Florida. On a monthly basis, approximately 10,000 households will be sampled to receive the survey. The mail survey will have three (3) separate mailings each month: one (1) - a full survey sent to selected angler households; (2) - a postcard reminder to selected households and; three (3) - a second full survey to households from which completed surveys have not yet been received. The sample size of each mailing is variable to limit contacts to households who have already responded. The vendor will be responsible for the printing and distribution of all three (3) monthly mailings according to the schedules described in this statement of work. The vendor will be responsible for providing a list of invalid or inaccurate address information. The overall objective of this project is to improve the quality of information available to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the management of important reef fish species in Florida.
