Spacesaver Touchscreen Controls shelving systems being upgraded with touchscreen controls and flooring stabilized. The Florida Department of Education, Division of Blind Services, Braille, and Talking Book Library shelves need to be upgraded. The existing system owned by the Department, Spacesaver Eclipse Mobile System no longer has any maintenance agreement or warranty and in addition to some safety and operational concerns. The upgrade will include replacing 38 Spacesaver Touchscreen controls, the upgrade will allow the department to consolidate shelving from two areas into one and convert those to static shelving eliminating the need for future maintenance. Intended Single Source: Patterson-Pope, Inc. The Spacesaver mechanical shelving is a proprietary product that is distributed through only an authorized dealer. Each office that sells, services and/or installs these products must be trained and authorized by Spacesaver. Patterson Pope, Inc. is the only representative trained and authorized to provide this service to this system in the State of Florida.
