Specifications include, but are not limited to: Broward County Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Division is seeking Sole Source Designation for the procurement of Comcast Broadband Internet Services which provides cable broadband Internet to various County Parks and County facilities throughout Broward County. Comcast operates under Franchise Agreements within various municipalities through Broward. These Agreements allow Comcast exclusive rights for Broadband services for over 85% of the cities. No other provider of broadband cable Internet may provide services into areas where Comcast has an executed agreement. The geographic footprint of Comcast allows for services into areas where some instances have shown no services by AT&T, making Comcast the sole source provider of Internet connectivity.
