Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a cut tree marked thinning of approximately 434 acres of mostly longleaf pine and slash pine, as well as some hardwoods on Blackwater River State Forest in Santa Rosa County, Florida (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-C0245755). All timber marked with blue paint within the sale area is available for harvest. Unmarked timber is not to be harvested or damaged. Estimated volumes for the sale are as follows: 2,186 tons of pine pulpwood, 1,168 tons of pine chip-n-saw, 2,351 tons of pine sawtimber, 1,567 tons of pine poles, and 412 tons of hardwood pulpwood. Sale area boundaries are marked with double dots of orange paint. Due to the presence of wetlands in the vicinity of or included in the sale perimeter, all Best Management Practices (BMP's) will be strictly adhered to.
