To make minor repairs to the facility prior to occupancy per the project requirements provided below and in Exhibits “1”: a. Contractor shall Fabricate, install and paint eleven (11) handrails in three (3) stairwells. b. Fabricate handrails to match existing handrails (see Exhibit “1” page 1). Securely install handrails according to Florida Building Code (FBC), Section 1014. Clean and prepare rails to receive primer and paint. c. Apply prime coat, Sherwin Williams (B51W01150) Extreme Bond Primer, or Palm Beach County (PBC) approved equal. d. Apply two (2) layers of topcoat, Sherwin Williams (B66W00351) Sher-Cryl HPA High Performance Acrylic Semi-Gloss coating in SW 2840 (Hammerhead Silver), or PBC approved equal. Repair all damaged concrete in stairwells and walkways (Surface Reprofiling). e. Prepare damaged concrete by removing unsound, bound-inhibiting material. Fill deficiencies with epoxy repair mortar leaving a secure, non-slip level surface consistent with existing stairs and walkways. See Exhibit “1” pages 2 through 5 for examples. Repair and paint walls/ceilings where identified (Exhibit “1” page 6). f. Repair deficiencies on walls and ceilings by cleaning area of loose material, patch and paint to match existing wall color and finish.
