The City of Homestead wishes to hire a firm that will program, operate and maintain the Seminole Theatre as a community arts center in the best interests of the City, including (but not limited to) the following duties: • The rental of the theatre and classrooms to local and regional nonprofit, educational and commercial organizations. • The presentation of local and touring cultural and entertainment programs. • The physical maintenance of the Seminole Theatre and all of its fixtures, furnishings and equipment. • Food and beverage operations for concessions, catered events and other programs. • The development and management of a ticketing system available to facility renters. • Back of house operations, including training for the use and maintenance of performance equipment systems. • Front of house operations, including safety and security training. • The pursuit of sponsorship and advertising opportunities to support the financial performance of the Theatre. • The annual development of budgets for the operation of the Seminole Theater to be submitted to and approved by the City of Homestead. • The development of a capital replacement plan to ensure that the Theatre remains in excellent condition. • The maintenance of insurance necessary to protect the interests of the City. • Assisting the City with booking acts and services for City Special Events at other City properties.
