Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. Services provided by Security Officers shall include at a minimum for Building Security: • Monitor school entrance to prevent unauthorized entry to building • Patrol hallways and bathrooms within the building to ensure only authorized persons are allowed access and to prevent vandalism • Monitor lunchroom areas to maintain order among students and prevent vandalism • Report acts of vandalism ,trespassing and loitering to the principal or principals designee • Report discipline infractions to the principal or his designee • Check doors and windows to ensure they are properly secured • Conduct routine checks of parking lot to ensure safety of faculty and students • Serve as liaison with school resource officer
