Specifications include, but are not limited to: solutions for security information and event management (SIEM) and security operations center tools that include in-depth responses to core and solution-centered criteria. A SIEM is an enhanced centralized logging and monitoring system, which aggregates logging and event information from devices on the network such as firewalls, routers, switches, servers, etc. Solutions may also analyze and correlate data to perform escalation activities including security alerts or automated mitigation based on certain criteria. The project scope should include an assessment, system sizing, implementation, and training. This was identified as a tactical project under the District’s Cybersecurity Plan.
