Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, material, equipment, supplies, transportation and services to do all items necessary to provide pre and post TV inspection, cleaning, rehabilitation and trenchless reconstruction of portion of the City’s underground sanitary sewer system. The system includes underground gravity main and service laterals and the removal of protruding service laterals (hammer taps). Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) – Reconstruction of existing pipe via inserting resinimpregnated flexible felt/fiberglass tube into the existing pipe, cured by external heat source. The work should be constructed in accordance with ASTM F1216-09 and/or ASTM F1216 “Standard Practice For Rehabilitation Of Existing Pipelines And Conduits By The Inversion And Curing Of A Resin-Impregnated Tube”. Additional approved method of reconstruction is via expanded-in-place PVC. The contractor shall furnish a Poly Vinyl Chloride pipe that meets ASTM Test Procedures D638 and D-790 and ASTM FI 504 Standard Specifications for Folded PVC Pipe for existing sewer rehabilitation. Expansion shall be controlled by uniform heating and providing pressure to properly expand the PVC pipe against the host pipe. a. Sewer line hydraulic cleaning. b.
