Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a three (3) year sole source contract to Hadronex, Inc. d/b/a SmartCover Systems (Hadronex), in the amount of $332,934.00, for ongoing and as needed of satellite Remote Sewer and Hydrogen Sulfide manhole monitoring solutions. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-205(2)(c) of the County’s Procurement Policy (February 1, 2025) and is considered a sole source as the goods and services provided by Hadronex are required to maintain standardization throughout the County, for the purpose of reducing financial investment. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
